COLDS – VITAMIN AND CALCIUM DEFICIENCIES 2
Our acquired immunity cannot completely protect us from colds either if the body lacks vitamins, for example. Calcium deficiency, a low calcium level, is another important factor. Furthermore, we have to look out for signs of exhaustion. Heavy demands on our energies are closely connected with a greater consumption of vitamins and calcium. Should circumstances require us to overtax our physical energies, we would need more vitamins and calcium to protect ourselves from catching colds than would be necessary if the body were rested.
The various ways in which we can build up our resistance to colds are dealt with below.
