If you have no juices available, give the child a mild herbal tea sweetened with honey. In addition, like all infectious diseases, a case of measles demands careful oral hygiene. For infants and smaller children, wrap a clean cloth around your finger tip, dip it in diluted whey concentrate and rub the gums, the inner cheeks and the tongue (which always become furred with measles).
